God of my world

 

    

     The queen and king of my world is right .My mother held me in her womb for ten months and gave birth to me with immense love and intense pain. My mother had a child before me, but she left this world on her birthday. My mother, who was very sad after that, gave birth to me in this world 5 years later. According to Mom, it felt like Mom and Dad had a world back then.

     My mom and dad weren't that rich but I know from the day I was born they always worked hard to raise me and give me a good education. Not only me but my mom and dad had more work to do after my sister was born but not less.

    To this day, my mom and dad take care of me without fail. When I look at my parents who left me on the way to my birth, they look at me with their eyes like gods, no matter how much I miss them

    I feel it is my duty and responsibility to take care of them as they grow older, just as they cared for me when I was a child.

Favorite sport

 

   

 Football can be described as one of my favorite sports. Football has a special place in the universe as one of the most popular sports in the world, born from the earliest days of human civilization and the passion and motivation that people have for kicking something. Football is one of the most widespread sports in the world. There are 3.5 billion people in the world playing football Of these, 40 million are women 211 countries around the world, including Sri Lanka, are members of the International Federation of Football Associations.

 World football history

       Archaeological evidence suggests that the origins of football lie in China. Stone balls used for the game of football have been found in the second and third centuries. There is strong evidence that the game was extremely popular as "Tsu Chu" during the reign of Emperor Han of China. Balls made of animal skins were used during this period and large bamboo sticks were used as goal posts. AD Lee Yu, a Chinese writer who lived between the ages of 50-130, and Tzu Chu have found praiseworthy notes on the sport.

 History of Football in Sri Lanka

      In an article for the Times of Ceylon in 1907, M. Woolsnam Mills stated that football had begun in Sri Lanka around 1879. A meeting was held at the Bristol Hotel, Colombo on April 4, 1911 and a resolution was passed to popularize the game of football in Sri Lanka. The following evidence confirms that the gradual expansion of the game of football took place with the emergence of various associations.

1939 Sri Lanka Football Federation

      Founded in 1939, the Sri Lanka Football Federation became a member of the International Football Federation in 1952 and became a member of the Asian Football Confederation in 1954. He is a founding member of the South Asian Football Confederation (SAFC), founded in 1997 by the Sri Lanka Football Federation. Football is one of the most popular sports in Sri Lanka today, spread across many sports clubs as well as schools.

 1963 Sri Lanka Schools Football Association

     The Public Schools Football Association was established in 1963 at Dharmaraja Primary College, Kandy and in 1962. It was renamed as the Sri Lanka Schools Football Association.The founding Honorary Chairman was the Principal of Dharmaraja College, Kandy major A. Perusinghe and the Hon. Secretary was Captain Mul Hara, Zahira College, Colombo.

 The field of play

       Must be completely natural or must be completely artificial otherwise it can be hybrid. The artificial playground must be green. The football field should be rectangular. Playground lines must be continuous and not out of line. The maximum width of a line should not exceed 5 inches. All lines must be the same width. Spheres and crossbars should be white. The minimum height of a pole should be 5 feet.

                             My favorite player in the game is David Beckham. David Robert Joseph Beckham born 2 may 1975, is an English former professional footballer, the current president & co-owner of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End(on loan) Real Madrid, AC Milan(on loan), LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an Outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20 year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

I' AM

        

         My name is Janani Diwangana. I was born on 3rd of october 2000 at  the Rathnapura hospital.. I grew up gradually. When I was 5 years old my mother took me to preschool. Educated in pre-school, I entered the school at the age of 6. When I went to school at the age of 10, the scholarship examination that we all face came. Although I was well educated, I did not get 25 marks in the scholarship examination. Little did I know, but it was kind of sad.

            Undeterred, I was determined to continue my education. So over time I passed the O/L exam and passed it well. Later I was able to go to a public school in the city. I went there and studied for the A/L  exam and passed that exam and got the chance to go to university.

            So now I am 21 years old. There have been many obstacles in my life in the past. But I think I have succeeded in life without all those obstacles. I have a lot of dreams for the future. So one of my goals is to overcome all these dreams.

Trip to Sigiriya

 

I had a dream to visit to Sigiriya Rock. so I made a plan with my friends to go there. One beautiful morning my dream came true, myself and my friends went to see that awesome, historical place.

We came early in the morning and started to climb the rock, I t was wonderful and we enjoyed lot looking around. I was wonder about that amazing ruins.

We came to the peak after couple of hours. We sat on staircase where we can see surround well and enjoyed lot looking around.

Then started to visit the ruins. There was the famous mirror wall and we look closely to see what is written on there and tried to understand what is in the mirror wall, it was so nice, we tried to translate the proses and verses very funny way.

Sometime later we visited to see the famous frescoes, it was gorgeous, how they painted such a beautiful portrait. How it remain such a long period without destruction, it was amaze to think.

Then we visit around place and we wonder thinking about place and the pool. I tried to imagine how they bring water to the peak it was really wonder to imagine. We spend another couple of hours spending looking  around, without notice it became evening. So we started to get in to down. On the way to down we sang together and we met another local visitors and foreigners too. We had little chat with some of theme. It was really enjoyable tour to me. 

Aunt's love

                        

      Even if you have not been hungry for ten months and have not been weaned,

Beautiful memories

 The friendship was so strong that even thought i dropped out of high school, all my friends who were studying drama and performing arts at school at the time had fun together. we all planned and went to the teacher's house in charge of the subject and not only had fun, but also discussed many topics related to the subject and exchanged information.

 So many of the sweet and immortal events that happened while we were discussing together, one of which was that my friends organized my birthday party at our teacher's how to surprise me. I am still very happy about the party they did without my knowledge and without my approval.

 They also did not forget their birthday this time. Although they could not get together due to the bad situation in the country, they made me happy to sing together through Zoom technology. 

Another memorable experience was when we all went to the Elphinstone Theater to see the king Oedipus play together. As discussed, getting on the bus that morning and getting on the bus while we were all singing and having fun was so close to us that it was so interesting.

 The play was performed in the evening, so we went to colombo early and wandered around unable to think of what to do. Then agreed to go to Galle Face and have fun. On the way to Galle Face, I had to turn around and ask for directions from various people and realized that the best solution was an internet map.

 When you think of having so much variety of food at Galle Face, you will not hesitate to have that experience again.

 It was time for the play to start so we had fun for two or three hours and got on the buses to hear from different people to go back to Elphinstone. When I got on the bus from Galle Face to Pettah, I was upset that my friend's wallet had been dropped off, but we all closed the bus. We got off the bus with the driver and conductor's scolding and yelled at our friend and went to look for the wallet. Eventually, we took the wallet we found at the location where the photos were taken and headed back to the Elphinstone Theater.

 The Elphinstone Theater was packed as we left. There was a crowd of spectators at the entrance to the theater with our tickets, but we all grabbed each other's hands and turned around and entered the auditorium. Even when it is  remembered, the smile cannot be stopped.

 Finally after watching the play the night dawned so we headed to Pettah with the intention of catching a bus very soon. We grabbed the last bus, got on it, and headed back home, remembering the day and promising to return on such a fun trip.

A Bit Of School Life

 I went to school from year 1 to 11 at R/Amuhenkanda Sri Wimalasara Maha Viduhala.

I learned a lot from that school. At that time we did a lot of outside work.

Some days when we go home it is around 6.P.M  But I did not forget to learn. 

I have been the prefect of the school since 5th grade. I also became the head prefect

of the school. Although there were older sisters in my school, I was chosen because

I was best suited for those position. That day was the happiest day in my life.

I belive the reason I was selected for that position was because I was in school as a

disciplined student.

New year 2021

                                       I did a little job after finishing the AL exam.

                                       So we did not forget to celebrate the New 

                                       Year this time.

                                       I worshiped the Buddha in the morning.

                                       Then we ate and the deal was done.

                                       Ah....forgot to say something.

                                       All of us in the shop were drawn in the 

                                       same way and this time we celebrated the 

                                       New Year.

                                       So, After there rituals we all went home.
